How to access Zamami Village
Naha Airport
Tomari Port
From Naha Airport to Tomari Port
By Taxi: About 15 minutes. You can ask to be dropped off at either the ferry terminal or the high-speed boat terminal.
By Monorail: Take the monorail to Miebashi Station (7 stops, about 14 minutes), then walk about 10 minutes to the port.
By Bus: From the Domestic Terminal Bus Station, take bus No. 26 or No. 99. The ride takes around 30 minutes.
From Tomari Port to Zamami Village (Zamami, Aka, Geruma)

High-speed boat Queen Zamami
The high-speed boat was renewed in 2021. Departing from the north pier of Tomari Port, it takes between 50 to 70 minutes to reach the islands. There are more than one departure per day.

Ferry Zamami 3
Renewed in 2017, the ferry features spacious areas designed for comfort. There’s a lounge where you can lie down and relax, free Wi-Fi, and counter seats where you can work while watching the sea. A pet room is also available. The trip takes about 1.5 hours to Aka Port and 2 hours to Zamami Port.

Transportation within the village includes transportation on land, and transportation between islands by boat.

Intra-village boat Mitsushima
Every day, the Mitsushima Boat connects Zamami Island and Aka Island. If a reservation has been made the previous day, it also goes to Aharen Port in Tokashiki Island.
